Nylon Array, A novel nylon membrane support is available for gene and protein arrays. Unlike a regular nylon membrane, its novel nylon sibling does not reflect fluorescence light and does not autofluoresce. At the same time it does not quench the signal emitted by specific fluorescence probes, which bind to it. Since modified material is chemically identical to a regular nylon membrane, the same DNA/RNA and protein arraying protocols can be employed without any time-consuming adjustments. Ideal for single-color and multi-color fluorescent tags.
